I'm done with the first semester of grad school and I couldn't be any happier.
This semester has been the toughest since I felt so lost, and felt like a stranger among many talented graphic design people. But I pulled through, and managed to learn some awesome stuff.
For my design procedures class, I was given a random word, 'knot', and my theme was fear of speaking in the public. With combining all the design process we learned during class, I had to make a handmade book. It was great because I learned all these cool techniques I never knew before; bookbinding, embossing, and die-cutting.It was also nice that I was able to do some illustration for the editorial layouts.

Your book is so lovely - it's amazing to me how some people can come up with a whole concept from just one word.
I really enjoy your blog. :-)
thank you, Irit. :-)
yes, i think coming up with the concept is the hardest part of all.
